Sandals Sunday

A beautiful sail from Sandals Barbados 🇧🇧. Wind kept shifting around but we almost got to Miami Beach before surfing back through turquoise water to Maxwell. The people who took the cat out before us had a Man-o-war wash up onto their boat and sting one of the sailors 😬

Round Barbados 2024

We did it! Racing on Sao Jorge from Sail Racing Academy, under skipper Andy! Strong winds, typically 20kts with some stronger squalls. Big seas, especially on the east coast. Ironically the worst weather on the west coast, so we didn’t get our turquoise paradise section, it was like sailing the east coast twice. Highlight was seeing our house close up, looking very regal on top of its cliff ❤️ 🏰

Barbados first sail! 🇧🇧

Love sailing firsts. First time in Barbados. First time dinghy sailing in warm water. First time Sarah and Wayne have been sailing. First time Becca has been on a cat. First time sailing over 6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12 knots on a dinghy 🚀 What a day! 😍
