We anchored in Deshaies Guadaloupe arriving in the dark. We found the anchor chain had not been housed properly so it was a little disconcerting to deal with that while anchoring in a strange place with a new boat. we also stopped at St. Maarten - the Dutch side - where we went through our first raised bridge area and had an awful time with paperwork. the anchorage was okay, but not being able to exit the bridge except for morning or late afternoon was a bummer.
