started ultra conservative with 3 reefs in the main but after seeing the stack of squalls, decided I needed to go fast. 1 reef in the main and varied the jib as the squalls passed. Average prevailing winds were around 18kt on a shallow broad/beam reach. Squalls we're not so bad and didn't exceed 28kt.

Harry wanted some extra sailing so we dumped the rest of the crew ashore and went out to sail some squalls Winds up to 28kts in the one squall then average 12-18kts once it passed. Had 1 reef in each sail through the squalls and popped out full sail once it passed. Great day sailing.
