How can it get any better!? Sailing on the leeward side of the Antigua is so pleasant. We waited until the winds picked up as they do around 1230hrs. Then headed out for our last sailabout of our 2 week charter on the Dufour 390GL "Rothko". It's so interesting how there is a definite invisible "boundary" line between now swels just waves and swells and waves! It's great practice to get used to a boat OR get used to sailing in these conditions for longer passages. You can always turn back when you've had enough! And our return track was almost exactly on our outbound track!!
20.5 kts of wind was the max. 15 was avg
We consistently saw 7.3 SOG. Fantastic!! Full Mainsail. Full headsail which is a 100% self tacking jib.
