After a wonderfully quiet night at anchor off pottery pier we were underway by 0645. A tad late! It was quiet but as we made our way across Poole Bay the wind increased until we dropped reef in main. Tacked (motor sailing) up needles channel and pushed through Hurst at 1010 by which time the tide was already ebbing!!! Into Yarmouth for breakfast at PO41 and off we went to undertake MOB evolutions. By time this was complete it was too late to push in to Newtown so diverted to Lymington town quay where we practised parking.
