Early start from Sucia across the Strait of Georgia. All motoring. Little wind early and then wind from NW. lots of commercial traffic especially around Tsawwassen. More current against than expected. More planning with tide/current. Under the Lion’s Gate bridge to Coal Harbour downtown Vancouver. Farewell dinner with Hakan at Chop steakhouse.

Beautiful day! Around to the east side of Orcas and up to Sucia. Anchored in Echo Bay. Amazing sunny conditions, Mountain View’s, and lots of company. Nice hike.

Hunter Bay to Eastsound for the farmer’s market. Anchored in Judd Cove across from Eastsound. Experimented with dinghy electric outboard range. Fantastic dinner at the Inn at Ship Cove.

Calm motor from Spencer Spit to Hunter Bay. Chatted up by the local sheriff on the way. Anchored out. Stir fry night!

Nice morning motor to Spencer Spit for a hike. Picked up a mooring ball using lasso. Departed through narrow channel north of the spit.

Mostly easy motoring from Roche to West Sound. Through Wasp Passage with no issues.

Fantastic beam reach and downwind sail! Deployed all three sails for the first time. Worked great. Experimented with wind hold on the autopilot.

Nice sail from Friday Harbor to Jones island. Anchored out and took the dinghy in for a nice hike.

Kicked off the 2025 crushing season! Beautiful day, a little chilly.
