I grew up sailing with my family in New England,mostly on Long Island Sound. We owned 3 different sail boats from 22’ to 39’. I learned the basics of sailing and became very “comfortable” on boats. At 20 I moved to Colorado and no more sailing. In 2018 I started sailing again. In 2020 I started racing. In 2022 we bought our cruising boat.

Calm and foggy in the morning, motoring. Wind built from behind, sailed some downwind with both head sails wing on wing. Also sailed with just Genoa. Variable winds, gusts hit 30. Current with us starting around noon so real good progress.

Motored in calm conditions with fog. Saw 4 Orcas close to the boat. Went to Alert Bay to get some provisions. Very nice and friendly little town. We enjoyed our visit
