Great sail, 12-15 knots on beam or aft of beam. Flat sea state, winds got lighter as we got further south. We were able to sail the entire distance.

Motored straight into strong winds that built after we left. 25 knots at times,rough beat. Lots of spray.

Motored a short 3 miles up to the next anchorage for a change of scenery.

Very calm conditions, motored in 2-4 knots. Beautiful day. Nice to meet up with Hepatica again.

Good to be back on the move after a week and a half at Vuda. Lots of projects finished. Sailed on a nice beam reach until the wind died, motored the second half of the day.

All and all a good passage. We followed the wind shift to keep a nice deep reach most of the way. Solid wind with a comfortable sea state. The final approach was a rough 5 hours with higher winds and big swell. Amazing greeting at the customs dock! Now we are hauled out for bottom paint.

Motored out to a nice anchorage on the outside of Vava'u after clearing out. We waited to depart at 3:00 AM after a wind shift occurred and to time a morning arrival in Fiji. Nice spot and good rest.

Beautiful weather, heading back to town to clear and depart for Fiji. Combination of motoring and sailing with the genoa. Unfortunately the Tongan feast was not very enjoyable due to the weather, it rained the entire time. pulled up a very large chuck of rock/coral with our anchor. Very lucky it came and I was able to remove it.

Motored into the wind 75% of voyage, sail with Genoa the remainder. Beautiful weather!

Nice conditions. 2 meters swell, fairly comfortable, 12-15 knots with gusts to 18. beam reach and then it went more forward as we neared the islands, close hauled on flat water once we entered the island group. Dark Star helped us onto a mooring ball.
