We motored to Riateia and picked up our full propane bottle. Once outside the pass the wind built and we had some fast downwind sailing. Winds 15-20 with gusts to 25. Cloudy day. When we arrived we grabbed a mooring ball nearMoyu Toopua.

We motored in light winds to find a comfortable anchorage. We were very happy for with our choice. Nice hike, good time with friends.

Good overnight sail. Lots of sail changes, reefs in and then out and back in. Wind died as we approached Riateia and we had to motor the last 8 miles. Stopped at boatyard to drop off propane bottle for fill. Did not like the anchorage do we left right away for a better spot.

Motored into headwinds and then sailed with genoa as we came around Moorea.

We motored in calm winds although the sea state was a bit rolly.

Very nice conditions although the wind was lighter than expected for part of the voyage. Beautiful clear skies with a full moon. Very comfortable sea state. Wind direction varied, we were close hauled overnight and deep downwindcthe next day. Arrived about an hour after sunset.

Nice sail diagonally across the atoll and out the NW pass. Once outside the wind was light, but filled quickly. We had to work to slow the boat down to time an arrival at Tiputa pass after sunrise. Still we were early for slack and went in with a couple knots of outgoing current and large standing waves. Stella handled it like a champ and we didn't even take any water on deck. Good overnight sail with deep downwind conditions and one jine. Quite rolly though!

Nice, fast beam reach to Apataki. Once inside the atoll we had to motor into the wind to the anchorage. Nice protection and some decent wing foiling. Surprised to see a boat yard here.

We had a great stay inside Toau with a week of strong trade winds and lots of wing foiling. Exiting the pass was quite a pounding for 5 minutes. After we were safely out the pass we had a nice fasy reach to the North end of the atoll where we were surprised to be able to grab a mooring ball. We went from one beautiful anchorage to another.

Fast downwind sail with just the Genoa. lots of boobies to avoid, thankful for satellite overlays!
