Pacific
I grew up sailing with my family in New England, mostly on Long Island Sound. We owned 3 different sail boats from 22’ to 39’. I learned the basics of sailing and became very “comfortable” on boats. At 20 I moved to Colorado and no more sailing. In 2018 I started sailing again. In 2020 I started racing. In 2022 we bought our cruising boat.

Sightseeing, motoring sort of day. Went to Gloomy Point and saw Puffins. Went up Wachusett Inlet to take in the mountains and hanging glaciers. Hunter Cove is a nicer anchorage than expected.

Blue Mouse Cove to Hunter Cove, United States
Completely calm and clear sunny day. We a very close Humpback in Queen Inlet and then 2 moose crossing the west arm of Glacier Bay between Blue Mouse Cove and the Tidal Inlet, which is over 2 miles wide, they are surprisingly fast swimmers. Beautiful evening at the anchorage. We are anchored alone in the SW , however there are 4 boats in the SE anchoring area.

Russell Island to Blue Mouse Cove, United States
Great excursion to the Margerie Glacier, perfect conditions to hang out and take pictures. We drifted in front of the glacier for about an hour and a half just watching and enjoying. Great night on anchor at Russell Island, perfectly common all night.
