First three days from Dry Tortugas motoring due to 2-3 knot wind. Engine alerted us to oil leak on day four that was bad and we were forced to sail the rest of the way to within 3/4 mile of slip.

We had a fun, full day in Dry Tortugas,  after anchoring once again in the dark, checking out Fort Hamilton and then took the dingy to Loggerhead Key and snorkeled in the 3rd largest coral reef in the world…beautiful fish, lobster and a conch.  The location is beautiful for anchoring, you must anchor within 1 mile of the fort.

On the last day we sailed in 2-3m waves with 20-25 knot winds…exciting and didn’t allow for much sleep.
