Sailing with Adam on his Moody 31, Twilight, leaving Cherbourg at about 0630 to aim for the Alderney Race at slack water (which falls at approx DOVER HW -0.5h).

Swift motor sail up the coast from Cherbourg, picking up the inshore eddy to carry us towards Cap De La Hague.

Definitely a bit bumpy on the approach to Cap De La Hague, but managed to turn South dead on slack water

Cherbourg to Granville, via the Alderney Race!
