More light northerly winds for our sail to Sydney. Arrived mid morning and picked up one of the three Public moorings at Rose Bay. This seems to be one of the few places on the harbour where there is a public floating tender dock. Good place to access provisions as there is an IGA, Woolworths metro and fuel within two blocks of the jetty. There is a Bunnings located a further three block away which is also handy. plenty of cafes pubs and restaurants. We were told not to lock our tender on this dock though as it is shared with the sailing club and they often need to shuffle boats around. Want to make sure you are tied up to the inside with fenders as it can get quite knarly here when the wind picks up and we saw a tender tied up to the outside being smashed against to dock in big waves/swell while we were pretty protected on the inside.
