Wimborne 

Father and I left Wimborne, having seen Judy the night before.  She insisted on breakfast at wetherspoons - which was exactly as described on the label - cheap and rather nasty.

Before leaving Wimborne town proper,  stopped to get enough food to keep us going for a few days - the important things; lagavulin, matches for cigars and enough packaged and tinned food to keep us fed, watered and constipated for days.

We drove down to Brixham through some rainpour for which England rightly has infamy.  The final 12 miles of the 120 mile journey taking well over an hour to accomplish.  

Upon arrival - an hour ahead of Jess, Tam and  Trish (Jess's former colleague And friend), and 2 hours ahead of the boat being ready - we set about exploring what little there is to see in Brixham.  We returned to the car with 
plenty of time; infer what you will.
Boat was loaded, skirmishes over who shared with whom and in what cabin resolved.  Headed out to dinner.  If Bikram worked out that Yoga in a hot room worked, that was great.  The same environment for eating - not so good!
Returned to boat, tossed and turned on a full stomach, and remembered how hot it is seeping in confined spaces again!

Brixham -> Salcombe

A good day for teaching the uninitiated.   Trish sick as a dog.  Tam was a little scared... "make it stop leaning... I dont like it!" is perhaps the best way to capture the idea.  

Entered Salcombe on a very low tide; can't imagine there was much below of the bottom of the keel and the sand bar.  No visitor buoys to be seen, so ended up rafting up against a French boat.  Father at helm - had never rafted before... All in all pretty successful.

Have already established myself as head chef when under sail.. Gives  me a little time to myself and removes the challenge of 27 chiefs and only half an Indian.  

Water taxi onshore,  chandlery was raided ( I think we made their day - walking in and dropping an immediate 400 gbp on gear).  Retired to pub, had a few pints and then wearily schleped back to boat via Taxi and crashed out by about 21:30.
