Calm, warm and sunny start. Lots of dolphin encounters and some pilot whales in Brixham bay. Motored most of the way but managed some F4 sailing around Salcombe and Bigbury Bay.

Fine sunny weather. wind light and on the nose. Given the distance and wind, motor sailed the whole way. Crossed path with some dolphins and a seal. Stats 86.4nm 16h 50m 5.1kts avg 10.5kts max

Planned to go to Lulworth Cove The tide and a westerly wind delayed my start. Then I stopped at Langstone Harbour jetty to get some fresh water. Sometime after 1pm the wind picked up, it was on the nose and I was motoring but it got too rough so I did a u turn and came into Newtown Creek. Get the map out later.

It was a very windy day and the evening race was in doubt but the wind eased and was sailed in a F5 with some F6 gusts.

The long way back. Not enough wind so motor sailed most of the way, with Too Tone

Left Langstone around lunchtime with light wind. The wind picked up just before Cowes so had a great sail.

Evening sail around Langstone Harbour. Fine weather but a cold light breeze.

Very lumpy Solent F3 maybe F4, slow close hauled progress but fun.

Another great sailing day, with the tide to Cowes F3/ F4
