Race 3, started well, then the weather ruled the race, winds picked up the 30 mph, waves gained height, rained started, which turned to hail, and let's throw in a thunderstorm and 0 visibility, 17 boats started, and only 3 finished and we was one of them 3rd place. Once we crossed the finish line it was engine on and head for home, and then we all changed into dry clothes and had soup for a late lunch, exhausted, but pleased with ourselves, just wanted to know the results.

Race 1, crossed the start line, and then no wind, race control abandoned race, we then bobbed around waiting on decision for race 2 (listening to bagpipes), race 2 announced, we got close to start line race started, but tide had turned and instead of crossing line we went backwards and never even started.

Crew: Skippers- Rob Cooper, Gavin, crew - myself, kelley & Dornford. Peaceful motor from Hamble to Cowes, light winds, no moon, but plenty of stars.

Day 2, left Lymington, along with all the Sunday race boats, git out just before the ferry, had lunch on a buoy at Bucklers hard, then had to motor back to our mooring o n the Hamble , overall a great weekend, great weather , great company and if course a great Skipper.
