10-13 knots true wind from behind. 9 foot waves and moved behind eventually to fly the spinnaker. 2 dolphins played on the hulls. Upon anchoring, locals came up with large lobsters and crabs for $40 for all. The largest I’ve seen but we want to catch out own.

Diatupu to Isla Esnasdup Bipi, Panama
13-15 knots true wind on a close reach sail. Wind angle not working so had to manually survey. 1-2 foot waves and comfortable sail.

Nugnudup to Diatupu, Panama
19 knots wind with 1-2 ft waves. Tacked with headsail only due to short distance.

Nugnudup to Wichudup Dummad, Panama
6-14 knots wind on beam. 2-3 feet rolling waves. Motored and motor sailed with front sail. I started out with a migraine and vomitted upon leaving. I slept up too for half the trip until my headache was relieved by migraine medication.

Isla Lintón to Nugnudup, Panama
Wind 10-29 knots apparent wind from close reach to broad reach. Waves 2-3 meters and on top of each other. Not a comfortable sail. We motor sailed the last half bit then had to slow down to an uncomfortable 4 knots with a reefed Genoa only to arrive at sunrise. Linton Bay was with lots of boats and very dirty water. Better planning is lesson learned!

6-20 knots of true wind with up to 10 foot waves. Motored 1st 12 hours and then sailed from close reach to beam sail in rough seas. We decided to sail further away from Nicaragua point. Became rougher with motor sail into waves. We encountered 3 fishing boats in middle of the night as sailing without lights. Mark diverted around one and I was not feeling well. The next day I developed a migraine and was vomiting and weak . We pulled into Providencia around 8:30 pm with a well lit channel and anchored in the dark. I was just recovering from my incapacitating headache.

Rock Hole, Cayman Islands to Mountain, Colombia
Wind 4-20 knots. 2 ft waves. Motored and tried to raise the spinnaker. Only 3 knots SOG. As rounded to inlet and made it across the pass, wind arrived and sailed south on a close reach while tacking.

Water Cay to Rock Hole, Cayman Islands
Motored back to the anchorage after trying to kite surf

Fisherman’s Rock to Water Cay, Cayman Islands
Wind 13-16 knots on broad reach sail. Used asymmetrical spinnaker for the 1st time and was fantastic. 6.5-9 knots apparent wind with 5-6.5 knots SOG. 2 foot waves. Anchored to kite surf but sargasm and untangling lines were too difficult.
