mostly F5-6 SW/SSW sea state smooth or slight in Thames Estuary but often Moderate elsewhere. very short steep waves off the east coast. over 3kts of current against us nearing Dover - well over the tidal atlas predictions... presumably wind induced surface currents. five night hours
