Motor sail day before Thanksgiving.

No wind, calm seas, unseasonably warm and clear, sunny skies.
Had a sea lion give us a great performance for several minutes 

Quick sunset sail with Cesar before daylight saving hits

9 kn of wind sailing on Cesar‘s birthday. We had to wait for Mike in the AARP gang to return the boat so we were delayed two hours in starting but beautiful sunshine and healing 25° maxed out 8.5 kn. Definitely overpowered and we will reef the sails next time.
Rained the day before, so the air was clear and we could see to Catalina.

Calm winds. Practiced anchoring at Long point.
Motor sailed almost entire way. Did sail for 30 mins, but only 4.8kts so we turned Yanmar’s back on.

Calm weather, had to motorsail entire way. Got a late start while we waited for dinghy and prep boat.
The Lagoon 42 was amazing and comfortable.
Light winds, sunny.
Caught two sand bass and tiny sculpin while at mooring. Our first mooring on port side drifted, so we had to move to starboard side. Nearly bumped the neighbor catamaran. Saw large pod of dolphins few miles out from Avalon. Also saw SpaceX landing pad in middle of ocean

Solo sail,  hit 8.2 kn lost one fender

3-5 foot swells , heading out had decent winds maybe 7 knots, but sailing back in the wind dropped to 3-4 knots. Pretty sunset against the clouds. Lots of fish jumping. 


Calm seas and light winds ,got up to 7 knots a few times. Peaceful day on the water and very light boat traffic 

Sunny and perfect temps. Light winds so didn’t sail fast. Top speed 5.5knots. Saw lots of dolphins. 4 pods . 
Trolled the nomad, but no hits. Caught a tiny sand bass back at the slip . Dan came after and slept on the boat. Had back to back OC gigs
