7kts E, cloudy, cold, vis good Motored to Newtown, on buoy 1

It started with 18 kn of wind, we therefore put 2 reefs in, wind immediately dropped to 10kn, so we shook them out to sail back in light winds. The sun came out and it was warm, not like our lunch stop which felt rather cool with the clouds. We were wondering where the heat wave was hiding!

Wind SW F4 Lucky with the wind as there was not much forecasted! Also sunnier than expected :-) nice sail, changed our end destination plans as cutting it otherwise too short. First outing on squibble for us!

F4, SW, very cloudy and cold Quiet on the Solent! Favourite buoy was taken but picked buoy 2 on lower Hampstead’s side.
