w 13-18kn, glimpse of sun, vis good Great finish to the weekend

No wind, cloudy, misty, mod vis

It was a very windy journey with 17-22kn E - ENE - unfortunately the wrong direction to make progress towards Itchenor. After lots of tacking with very little progress over 2 hours, we changed to motoring. Luckily the sun and blue sky appeared against the forecast. The waves made it a bumpy affair. First time on walk ashore pontoon (no water or electricity).

It started with 18 kn of wind, we therefore put 2 reefs in, wind immediately dropped to 10kn, so we shook them out to sail back in light winds. The sun came out and it was warm, not like our lunch stop which felt rather cool with the clouds. We were wondering where the heat wave was hiding!
