Too late started, we came from East Cowes Marina, not stopped at noon when arriving for lunch. No wind, motored to Newtown. Day skipper day 3.

Pontoon B5 starboard to, bow in

We expected 10-12kn of wind and were surprised by 14-18kn W. It gave us an opportunity to have a proper sail. Halfway go into irons to put a first reef in. Happy back home.

We hoped for 13kn of wind SW but as soon as we were out of the Lymington channel, there was only 8kn. We put the sails up but then the wind dropped further down to 4.5kn. After a while we motor sailed. Luckily we got a buoy (no. 8?) in Newtown and the sun came out. Depth 2.7m at 18.46
