Cruz de Huanacaxtle to Chacala, Mexico
Calm morning, motored for about 4 hrs. Wind filled, sailed wing on wing, then jibed the genoa, then jibed around point. Motored last hour in as wind headed us. Too many whales to count(again). Almost had a Humpback run into us, he was within 10' and turned sharply. Hooked a small fish but lost it right at the boat. The sailing we did was very nice.

Las Islitas to Chacala, Mexico
We motored the entire distance. wind was about 5-7 knots true dead behind us. Fairly calm swell. Our anchor was wrapped and jambed on a rock when it was time to leave. A neighbor immediately came over and dove on the chain and freed it, thanks! We enjoyed Isla Isabel very much and are looking forward to our next visit there. There was a great bunch of cruisers there while we were which made it extra nice.

North Pacific Ocean to Las Islitas, Mexico
Good sailing down from Mazatlan. We left at 17:00 for an overnight so that we would leave in daylight and arrive in daylight. The first 7 hours we had 10-12 knots at 150-160 degrees and the Hydrovane did all the work. After we Jibed the wind had built and it was time to hand steer for the target. Tons of humpbacks as we approached Isabella.

Las Cocinas to Bahía San Pedro, Mexico
We motored in flat calm seas. Very pretty amchorage, we saw and heard several whales, most likely humpbacks along the voyage and at night while at anchor. Beautiful sunset. The water was so calm I was able to see the stars reflecting off the surface.
