Great lap of the island on Incisor. 8am start. Big squall rounding the Needles, forcing a very late hoist, only for the kite to blow. Lots of damage on other boats then a long slog to the finish.

First time taking the L46 upwind. Once sail trim was perfected, we were getting AWA 44 with 18kts of Breeze and SOG 6.5kts. on returning from Rhone, Ruth said "someone's left a bloody big boat down there...!"
