Left Barra de Lisboa at Ebb Tide with strong current meeting 1-2m swell, confusing seas. Light wind (7 knots), then after getting to the open ocean, sea state mellowed out to just the prevailing swell. Raised the main and continued motorsailing. After about 5 miles on the course wind vanished. By reaching Cabo Espichel a Light breese allowed us to sail for about 20 min. with main and jib. Rest of the journey to Sesimbra windless.
