Another very calm day motoring in the north Atlantic. We finally made it to Florida! We did not stop off at Cumberland Island, but we may go there on Tuesday/Wednesday. We need to fill up our water tanks and have a shower at this point! Will be checking into the Fernandina Marina tomorrow.

GREAT DAY. Kimberly basically single handed. I rolled out Main and Jib and put them away. I tended the Main and she stepped out and told me to stand down that she would work the jib, and she did. tacked south, ate a tuna salad sandwich. on the north run some wing on wing and beared off toa great Beam Reach back to broad and sailed back to pier. impeccable day!!

Solo sail trip to Hadley’s Landing

Our last day of the trip started out with a nice, foggy overcast day. But it was the perfect palate for what we had in the store. Nora had shared that she wanted to get a little bit more practice with under power and also some more hands-on practice, with really being able to see and understand the shape of the sail and how the sail should be trimmed based on where the wind was coming from. Since we had a light wind day, it was a nice opportunity to practice some of those underpower skills and to be able to really play with how the sails need to be trimmed without having to fight some much higher winds like we'd had earlier in the week After a lunch stop and more sail trim practice we closed our day with celebratory drink and recap.

Very playful dolphins followed us out of our anchorage at New Teakettle. Very calm North Atlantic, barely any wind. Peaceful day motoring and enjoying the Sunshine!
