Winds were forecast to be calm but we had a healthy 10+ knts. It was a beautiful sail on the bay under the full moon and clear skies. Maintained 6.5 knts easily on a close reach and even got above 7 a few times. Went to anchor and watch the fireworks. Stayed for a few hours to ring in the New Year and headed home. What a wonderful evening.
