Short motor in no wind to anchor at Holbrook bay

South Easterly about 10kn motored out of Brightlingsea and the Colne. Sails up and bear away toward Clacton. Furl Genoa and use Reacher after 30 mins. Goose wing reacher at Walton. Motor on at Harwich shelf

Light NE wind, reacher out of the Orwell. Spinnaker from Walton to the Colne.

Set off at 330am. Still dark. Sails up outside Ramsgate in light NW. Built to 20kn off North Foreland. On the nose in Foulgers gat, Black Deep and across middle Sunk, but bore away to sail to Cork Sand Beacon. On the nose and showers back to Harwich

Set off at Sheerness HW +4. Tide all the way apart from last 30mins. If we had sailed a bit quicker to the Swin we would have made it all the way with tide…
