Light NE wind, reacher out of the Orwell. Spinnaker from Walton to the Colne.

Set off at 330am. Still dark. Sails up outside Ramsgate in light NW. Built to 20kn off North Foreland. On the nose in Foulgers gat, Black Deep and across middle Sunk, but bore away to sail to Cork Sand Beacon. On the nose and showers back to Harwich

Set off at Sheerness HW +4. Tide all the way apart from last 30mins. If we had sailed a bit quicker to the Swin we would have made it all the way with tide…

Wind on the nose all the way. About 10kn from SE. Woodbridge regatta day today so lots of folk by the river. Usual melee of dinghies at Waldringfield. Moored up on buoy 144 near the quay at Ramsholt
