We were woke at 3am to the anchor alarm going off, followed closely by another massive electrical storm. We usually prepare for the worst but our generator wouldn’t start so we were busy mucking around with that when we dropped anchor and forgot about the code zero. So there we were in the throes of this horrid storm attempting to drop it to the deck to avoid anything else happening. No more sleep for us. We set off as soon as the n came up and have found another little anchorage to hang at for the night. Not going to make that same mistake again.

It was suppose to be an overnighter but unfortunately our generator decided not to start, so rather than continuing we decided to stop just on dark to check it all out and in turn go to shore tomorrow to get anything necessary. Always something going on out here. Funny how it comes off the back of not using it for 2 weeks while we were spoiled on shore power 🙄🤷🏽♀️

After weeks resting up at the Marina we decided to continue our trek. We had daily electrical storms, people getting rushed to hospital with Dengue Fever and a heat like nothing I have ever felt. We explored the Singapore Zoo and basically enjoyed the conscience of 24/7 air conditioning on the boat. Back to reality now.
