Big day full of different weather. Mostly storm clouds off the Grand Bahama created weather, black clouds, Wood, lightning and rain for most of the day. Point of sale broad reach to running to beam as we made our way into the early evening. After the sun came out around 3pm turn into some really good sailing with 6 to 8 months on a beam reach. I took over the sailing from about 12 PM to 6 PM. We entered the golf stream around 5 PM and a speed went up to 9.2 kn motoring

Went to bed at Midnight. Night shift was over. Took a Dramamine right before bed and didn’t kick in until about 1am but after that slept well. Nothing eventful happened during the watch. Jib was furled in due to the run pos. COG was low throughout the night. 5.0 to 5.5 kts Woke up at 6am to start my day shift. We put the jib out full, turned 10 degrees STBD for a beam to broad reach run

Left Laynard Cay with gorgeous calm turquoise blue water and calm seas. We made our way to the cut and the sea state changed with the oncoming storm in the Atlantic. Beating into the wind, we quickly got over powered, 12 kts to 30 in 20 min. Furled the Jib, furled the main quickly and turned to a STBD beam to make our way around the Bahamas. Beautiful sailing for the rest of the day intermittent storm kept popping up, but nothing that was too threatening. Sailed In the evening. Little bit of a tough point of sale because the jib kept luffing on the run. STBD gyb to port gyb was way better pos into the night. Beautiful starry and smooth sailing. Storms off the port now in the distance gave a nice show. Little Harbor sails smoothly! Around midnight, I went to bed
