Dang! What another beautiful day on the water. I feel like all my log intros start the same way but when it’s true, it’s true. Got to take out a bigger boat today. I was helmsman all day. The wind started off very light but picked up tremendously and ended up being a wonderful wind day. We went a lot longer today than I usually go. Ate lunch on the boat and listened to some sea shanty’s. Had an amazing time.

What an amazing day on the water. Wind started off around 4 knots and progressively got stronger throughout the day. We maxed out somewhere around 8 knots gusting into the teens. Clear and sunny skies. Not hot and not cold. Had some white cap waves. Couldn’t ask for a better day. 

Peaceful Paradise

Fairly light winds today. Had to stay on top of the sail trim to make sure I got every knot I could get out of the sails. Very light boat traffic. Almost felt like I had the lake to myself today. That’s the perks of being able to come on the weekdays. Since the wind was on the light side and the temperature was higher than usual, it felt very hot today. Bilge pump housing had a screw loose and I reported that to the dock manager. Overall a great day on the water.
