Late start to the race, around 15:00 delayed from 11:30 after very low winds. Good race with new boat and crew, learning the ropes! We scraped a sandbank and broached as we came towards to head at Cowes, which added some… excitement… to the day! Placed 8/12 in the race. Expecting to improve in following days!
