excellent journey and yes, fog is a feature of that coastline. Camaret would be a good place to aim for, with all tide access , good marina and safe anchorage just outside. 

Up at first light to catch the tide to go thru the Chanal De Batz. The channel looked well marked and interesting but a thick fog came down as we slipped lines. So it was round the top of Ile De Batz and then motoring all the way to L'Aber Wrach against the couple of knots headwind.
Now looking at how / when the Chenal Du Four might be do-able.
