We tried to continu up river with engine first. Wind to light we decide to head back down river. It’s an exercise of sail trimming for a good part of the journey. Finished in 20 kts of wind. Back at Anse à la Barque where we meet Wind Affair (Raphaël).
Quiet but cold night.

After a day rest in Tadoussac and dropping one of the crew, we sail the Saguenay. Beautiful encounters with Belugas. Slow pace to Anse Gagnon. Very protected anchorage.

No wind for the beginning of the leg. Very cold, Wind picked up a third of the way, finished by sail in beautiful sun. Anchored at Anse à la Barque for a very quiet night.

Very rapide crossing, averaging 7.5 kts with peaks at 10 kts. Crew well prepared.

Sporty sail close haul. Choppy seas with waves up to 2.5m. Boat well balance and behave correctly. Crew didn’t anticipate and have fool weather gear on, got soaked a couple of time.

Leaving the anchorage in dead calm sea and no wind. We get the wind once out of the bay. One tack in a very pleasant ride.
The generator is still giving issue with it’s cooling system. It seems to point to a blown gasket.
