Practical and enthusiastic sailor with experience in yacht ownership, coastal and offshore sailing, and formal skipper training in both tidal and non-tidal waters. Experience includes ownership and operation of a personal yacht, several English Channel crossings, offshore passages in the Mediterranean, local UK coastal sailing from Ipswich, boat handling training, RYA Day Skipper training, and regatta participation. Comfortable with passage planning, pilotage, marina manoeuvres, night sailing.
