Le Gosier to La Marina, Guadeloupe
A near perfect day for sailing. Winds were steady 16kn E with swells at 2-3’ easing to 1-2 by the afternoon. Partly cloudy the whole way and no rain. We anchored at 15’ in sand on our second attempt, since the first grabbed some grass and did not hold.

Maison Blanche to Le Gosier, Guadeloupe
Morning conditions were calm and wonderful. Late morning we hit a squall with sustained winds at 25 knots and heavy rain. I set the autopilot and maintained watch from below as the swells increased to 8-9 feet at 5s. It was pretty rough conditions for the next hour and then as we approached Les Saintes the seas calmed down. We moored in the bay of Le Bourg, with the crew did a perfect catch on a reverse approach.

Bouillante to Maison Blanche, Guadeloupe
Good wind for the first half with seas at a lovely 1-2’ Lazy jacks broke on the port side taking up the sail, which created a long delay bring down the sails. Ran engines and 1100 rpm for the duration to charge the batteries back to full. Cruised at 6-7. Anchor failed to hold good in the first two stops but found a great spot a little south of where we originally planned.

Pré Cassin to Fromager, Guadeloupe
Swells were 4-5ft which made the passage quite rough. Wind was 10-20kn from the east and the sky was overcast and hazy. Temperature was very warm and humid, so overall it was a short but tiring voyage.
