Weather better than forecast as the drizzle died. Flat water and gentle motor sail under the Genoa. Rain picked up over lunch turning into the Solent. We looked a bit wet! Still excellent sail and good fun. Getting the hang of the helm.

Lovely weather and sailing. MOB in the Solent (another boat) all recovered safely. Involvement from Coastguard rescue helicopter and Lymington Lifeboat. Someone’s life raft came first in its class going round the island. Spitfire seen overhead.

Anchored for lunch off Osborn House.

Arrived to the beautiful UKSA Nonna Olive at Town Quay, Southampton. Quick hellos and straight over to Cowes, home of Yachties.
