Very light winds meant we initially motor sailed skirting around the sandbank out to Sealand, a bizarre concrete structure. Later the winds built allowing a beautiful sail up the River Stour

A beautiful day’s sailing with Skipper Bradley Keenan. Seal spotted in the river as we headed out. A steady 5 to 6 knots of boat speed on a beam / broad reach to Clacton-on-sea, lots of fun tacking back up wind albeit making rather slow progress before a brief stint on the motor to get round Walton-on-the-maze before sailing up the river.
