Boat delivery from Levington to Bawdsey Quay

Pushing the tide with light winds on the nose motorsailing out of the River Orwell. Once out to sea, sailed on a broad reach with increased force 4 winds to the River Deben. Picked up lost rubber dinghy on passage. Subsequently met owner at sea who followed us to collect his dinghy in the calmer waters of the river.

Boat delivery from Greenock to Falmouth, UK

Starting the delivery at Greenock (Scotland), motoring to Largs, a 3 hours trip enjoying the beautiful Scottish landscape. Staying overnight at Largs and leaving in the morning. It took the whole day and night to arrive the following morning at Howth (north of Dublin). Just a quick pit stop to get diesel. Night watch while crossing the Irish Sea. Great experience in avoiding lobster pots and collision with trawlers and other commercial vessels. Reaching Milford Haven (Wales) in the morning with all it's oil docks and many rusty old commercial oil ships. The morning in Neyland Marina for a stretching walk, coffee, shower and diesel. From afternoon, picked up a mooring in the Haven as bad weather approached during the coming night. 2am next morning, with the tide still going out, we left and had a beautiful sail during the morning on big rolling waves along the west coast. It was particularly interesting to helm around Lands End as the state of the sea changed more times! Fog developed in the evening. We anchored for the night in Coverack Cove (Cornwall). Next morning, short journey to Falmouth (Cornwall) - beautiful location with great still, cloudy, dry cider!
