Marine Diesel Mechanic ASA Sailing Instructor Sean picked up sailing in 2018 after crewing as “bio-ballast” onboard a Bahamian sloop. He began taking ASA courses and quickly ended up with a job at a sailing club north of Atlanta. What started as a hobby has become a full-time job as a diesel mechanic and all-around sailboat bosun for the club’s fleet. Sean and his wife own the historic sailing yawl, Burgoo [the first fiberglass boat, and the smallest boat, to win the Newport/Bermuda race].

Typical Lake Lanier. Lovely and gusty one minute, dead calm the next 2 hours, blowing moderate breeze at the end. Great time with Manuel!
