Marine Diesel Mechanic ASA Sailing Instructor Sean picked up sailing in 2018 after crewing as “bio-ballast” onboard a Bahamian sloop. He began taking ASA courses and quickly ended up with a job at a sailing club north of Atlanta. What started as a hobby has become a full-time job as a diesel mechanic and all-around sailboat bosun for the club’s fleet. Sean and his wife own the historic sailing yawl, Burgoo [the first fiberglass boat, and the smallest boat, to win the Newport/Bermuda race].

18-25kts from the NW Gusting to 42kts AWS Bloody cold, but got to sail in the snow (flurries) for the first time! Great first day on the catamaran course, and it can only get easier from here!
