Portsmouth

30 years cruiser sailing, now got a real blue water 40 footer. Sadly, my first mate and wife for all those years passed away in February so I am always after crew.

Return to Southsea

Bit of a sail to start with in light winds, but then wind dropped right down and had to motor.

Back home

Pretty good sail in strongish winds, one reef in main and furled genoa. Wind eventually died just before Portsmouth, then came back quite strong

Riley trophy, aborted due light winds

Wind up and down, occasional rain. Wind dropped right down of Yarmouth, retired from race. Initially headed for Osborne bay but wind picked up to 15 to 20 app. Stopped up the Medina, Folly reach, mid river.
