Started out through through the Violet passage with the tide but slowed down down down a bit due to sea state. Lost a few miles due to forgetting to click "start recording ".

Started out virtually no wind and fairly flat. Got past Chausey and it picked up lots. up to 23kts apparent wind and regularly 8 plus through the water. Stopped on waiting pontoons for an early get away away

Very light winds, tried trolling foe mackerel, but no luck. Very clear through the Channel into St Malo, unlike last time when visibility was barely 20m!
