A wet but windy day. A lazy start, watched the coronation of King Charles III, a great F4/5 blow round the Solent in a four hour round trip and then back to the King and Queen for dinner.

Muster at 0900 to complete boat checks etc Planned to get to Staines and The Swan Hotel for lunch but realised by Old Windsor there was no chance of getting there, eating and getting back before dusk! Returned to Windsor, moored and had lunch there. Home by dusk safe and sound (see second trip record)
