Wind was F1 / F2 and very changeable. Large portions of the journey was motor sailing.

Morning mooring practise then sailed out to Osborne bay. Completed an anchor under sail, then sail recovery of anchor. Very good sail to Gosport, force 7 SE against tide created some choppy sea and big waves. I really enjoyed helming through the waves even if I did have a few water baths en route. Came in to Gosport under sail, main centered and sailed on head sail. Used small area west of channel in the harbour to drop sails.

Brought Ecos out of Yarmouth MOB practice Skippered to Poole using the north channel. Quite heavy seas, was breaking at Chichester so diverted south around the breaks. Helmed back to Lymington
