Import certificates from International Yacht Training

Connect SailTies to your International Yacht Training (IYT) account to automatically import verified certificates to your profile.

Please note - IYT import is currently supported on iOS app only.

How IYT certificates appear on SailTies

IYT certificates are added to your SailTies qualifications. These appear on the My Sailing and Qualifications screens and when you create your Resume PDF.

Connecting IYT to SailTies

1. On the 'My Sailing' screen, tap the settings icon and choose 'Devices and Partners'
2. Select International Yacht Training from the list of options
3. Tap 'Connect'
4. When prompted, login to your IYT account
5. Tap 'Allow' on the IYT permission screen

Your accounts are now connected and all existing IYT certificates will be imported to SailTies.

Re-syncing your IYT certificates

If you have completed new IYT certificates you will need to re-sync for them to appear on your SailTies profile.

Simply open the IYT page in the Devices and Partners section and tap 'Resync'.
