Another high wind day straight down the channel back to the Sunsail Base ACI Marina. Returned to the base 1 day early due to continuing high winds, swell & waves and expected storm tomorrow.

Thought we might enjoy some beating into the wind today since we haven’t had the sails up much this week. But the weather had other ideas for us. We were headed SE down the Mljetski Kanal… 20kts SE, 2m waves, Thunder Storms nearby but only a little rain over us. Gale force 4 Boat handled well pounding into the waves. Chose a well protected anchorage and enjoyed a beautiful evening. Very strong wind gusts made for a sleepless night and anchor dragged early morning. Dinghy flipped over during the night.

Flat calm seas. Very light wind. Had a relaxing morning and breakfast at cafe in Pomena before heading over to Korcula. Anchored in bay just outside the town.

Winds light 7-10kts SE, seas flat, hot hazy day. Sailed deep broad reach for awhile but only making 3kts so to make destination in time to visit the National Park here we motored most of the trip. First stern to docking with lazy lines went very well!

Motor sailed in light winds. Picked up mooring ball in small bay with a beach bar for tonight.

Nice downwind sail, wind and waves built over the day. Wind SW 12-15kts 6-7 kts boat speed with asymmetrical for a good part of the afternoon. Waves about 1 m by the time we arrived. Anchored overnight in Cobourg Harbour. Brad & Silvi sailed here on their own boat. Went for dinner at New Mexican restaurant Tezca, great tacos & tequila.
