Last day of sea trials with Kyle

Saw a Chinese white dolphin and tested the adjusted reacher. Got caught in a line near oyster farm.

TWS mostly 15-20kts, sailing with Solent and Reacher. Reacher cable to be adjusted, mainsail to get more out haul tension.

Little wind. Motor sailed to Hook Passage then motor only.

Short engine trip to Whitehaven beach from Chalkie’s

Short trip to Chalkie’s Bay. Nice 15kt sailing on a reach. 

Whitsundays Day 5

Winds to 18kts, upwind trip against tide. Engines from 11:30 as the mid-tide made it impossible to make reasonable time. Good practice shaking out reefs and re-reefing as wind conditions changed in the morning.
