Racing on the Arctic Tern. H on helm. Pat Tactics and sheets. Jim C on foredeck. William D on main. I was mostly deck meat but did run the spin pole some. light to mid winds. 2nd place in the Cal25s.

Return Race from Cambridge on the Laughing Gull. Pat Seidel as skipper. Bill Dick on helm. Rodney and me as jib and rail meat. Winds started heavy (5’s maybe gusting 6). Still ran with no reefs. Had fixed the mainsheet the night before and stayed at Liz Principe’s house after dinner and drinks at Cambridge Yacht Club. Wind was lower later in the race and we were caught and passed but managed to recover and finished 1st. After a bit more sailing, motored home. Pat dropped us off at the docks.

Winds started 4-5 but picked up to 6 gusting 7. Came in 2nd in Alberg 30 class on Laughing Gull. Skipper Pat Seidel, H on main. Bill Dick and Eric on sheets. I was foredeck and railmeat until the mainsheet blew a pin on a bad gybe and then I rand the single strand main.
