Oysterhaven to Crosshaven

Paul joined, had to row in to get him, dinghy sucks to row. Sailed a good bit, dropped paul in oyster then moored

Glandore to Oysterhaven

Engine worked fine in the morning, was finally able to sail a bit

Crookhaven to Glandore

Motored the whole way, against 10 knots and choppy seas after kenmare. lots of dolphins. broke diwn at crookhaven right as we came into the harbour, very lucky nit vefirr the rocks.

lowered revs to pick a spot, battery warning and engine cut. woukdnt restart, dropped anchor where we were, its in the middle by a rock and close to moorings but no choice. now need to trouble shoot.

Caherciveen to CrookHaven (Breakdown)

Changed plan the night before to go to caherciveen marina as we ran out of fuel. motored the whole way. both very tired and drained due to loads of sun and not much food. caherciveen was ok to pull into, outer wall accessible, inside the marina looks very tight, we wouldnt make it in id say if we had to but luckily dont. rang ahead around 13:30, arrived at 15:30. €35 for the night, toilets are in a building that gets locked at 17:00. refueled with jerry can via petrol station. aldi close to marina. Smerwick to Caherciveen Marina

Spearfishing and anchoring for night
first time using tillerpilot. caught 2 crabs and barbecued them but they sucked. saw no fish, visibility good.

ran out of food, rationed 4 weetabix and 2 apples for the next day to get us to a marina.

Carrigaholt to Smerwick

No wind, mainsail didnt work. wire bulging in the track so couldnt get it up, used genoa a while but ended up motoring 90%

Tried to moore in carrigaholt but the chains wouldnt come out the buoy, tried all 6 :(
