I started sailing aged 12 with an old Enterprise dinghy renovated by my father. Spells in various dinghies followed ( Mirror, Laser, National 12, Laser EPS, RS700). My first offshore experience was aged 16 crewing on a Hustler 25 in East Anglian Ofshore racing series and cruising to Ostend with friends on a UFO31 As the bug bit I have owned a series of yachts and cruised the south coast UK along with chartering in the Med.
